Programme Overview

The Simulated Examination (Sep) Series aims to offer students a chance to put what they have learnt into practice using a timed trial. All papers will be marked by an experienced TLL teacher and each subject also comes with a video featuring explanations, solutions and tips on how to score better for the examinations.

This series is meant to assess your child's readiness as he or she prepares for the upcoming O-Level examination.

What is this programme about?

This programme offers S4 students the opportunity to experience realisitc exam conditions through simulated examination conducted at our centre. Students will take exams under invigilation and their papers will be marked by experienced teachers. Detailed feedback will be provided, including marked scripts, answer keys and video walkthroughs of the exam papers.

Who is this programme suitable for?

This programme is ideal for S4 students aiming to:
- Familiarise themselves with exam formats and time constraints
- Identify their strengths and weaknesses in specific subjects
- Practise exam taking strategies in a controlled environment
- Receive detailed feedback to improve performance
- Reduce exam anxiety through realistic practice

What is the exam format?

The exam format will closely mirror the actual GCE O-Level exams, including the types of questions, time allocation and marking schemes.

When will I receive the marked script and video walkthrough?

You will receive the scanned marked script and video walkthrough within 2 weeks after the exam.

What if my child misses part of the exam (Paper 1 or Paper 2)?

Due to the structured nature of the simulated examination, we are unable to offer replacement sessions for missed papers. In such cases, we will provide a copy of the missed paper and students can attempt the paper at home before submitting it for marking. They will still receive their marked scripts and the video walkthrough for the full paper.

Can my child sign up for the September run if he or she has attended the June run?

Students who have previously attended in June are not encouraged to attend again, as the materials will be repeated. This rerun is intended for students who missed the first run of our S4 Simulated Examination Series in June.
