Frequently Asked Questions

About P6 Intensive Revision (June) Series

Will this programme help prepare my child for GEP?

The programme is designed for mainstream students, as the materials focus on the PSLE. GEP students take a different examination. However, if GEP students would like additional practice for the PSLE, they may sign up for the programme.

Will there be any homework?

There will be no homework. Students will be given time to attempt most questions during classwork. Any remaining questions can be completed at home, with answers checked against the answer keys provided.

Will the worksheets be marked?

For English, components such as composition writing will be collected for marking. For other components and subjects, teachers will review answers in class. Due to the intensive nature of the programme, there is a greater focus on teaching content, question analysis and answering methods and techniques. Answer keys are provided for reference after the programme ends. This differs from our core programme, where answer keys are not typically provided.

If I can only make it for 1 day out of the 2 days, can I still attend? Are the sessions related?

Your child can still attend, as different components and topics are covered across both days. Should your child miss any session, worksheets and answer keys for selected components will be provided.

My child already attends regular classes at TLL. How will this be useful?

The Intensive Revision Programme focuses on key sections and topics that we have identified as important for helping students perform well in examinations. It builds on the same skills and methodology taught in our core classes, but at a more intensive level. Students can use this opportunity to consolidate their learning and revise areas they are less familiar with, while gaining additional practice.

My child already attended the Intensive Revision programmes in March. Is this any different?

Yes. For English, some sections of the examination paper are revisited to strengthen answering strategies. However, the practice questions are different, allowing your child to be exposed to a wider range of question types. For the P5 and P6 levels, there will be a stronger focus on composition, with orals included.

For Mathematics and Science, while some components are similar, the topics and questions differ. This programme is suitable for students who would benefit from additional practice.
