Programme Overview
Programme Focus
This programme focuses on developing critical thinking, creative problem-solving and advanced abilities in English and Mathematics. Through targeted exercises and exposure to commonly tested language and mathematical questions, with step-by-step guidance, students will gain a deeper understanding of complex concepts and learn how to tackle challenging problems with confidence.
Course Outline
For English, P3 students will hone their reading comprehension skills by analysing challenging passages and learning to make inferences to answer higher-level questions. Our cloze passages are designed to develop critical reading skills, expand vocabulary and strengthen answering techniques for contextual questions and commonly tested collocations. Students will also gain exposure to vocabulary questions that test subtle differences in meaning and context, while engaging in word puzzles that develop logical reasoning.
For Mathematics, P3 students will be exposed to different types of non-routine problems involving familiar concepts such as arithmetic, geometry and measurement. These questions are designed to strengthen higher-level logical thinking and reasoning. The programme also challenges students to achieve their full potential by tackling topics that require strong visualisation skills. Students will learn to analyse complex questions and apply creative problem-solving methods efficiently.
