Our Fins and Friends: Discovering Ocean Life programme allows students to learn more about fish and discover fascinating facts about various marine animals such as sea stars, sea snails and hermit crabs. Through a classroom session and guided touch tank experience, students will learn to identify features, understand adaptations and appreciate the diversity of our shores.
Course Outline
In this programme, Fins and Friends: Discovering Ocean Life, your child will dive into the characteristics of fish and uncover fascinating facts about various marine animals, such as sea stars, sea snails and hermit crabs.
Students will undergo a classroom session conducted by dedicated TLL Science teachers before experiencing the highlight of the programme: an exciting marine touch tank experience where your child will get up close with some of the remarkable animals found along our shores. Through guided observations, your child will learn how to identify key features of different marine creatures, understand their adaptations and discover the roles they play in coastal ecosystems.
This programme is in partnership with expert learning journey facilitators, Young Nautilus, and aims to nurture scientific curiosity while encouraging respect and care for marine life, giving your child both a strong foundation in Science and a sense of wonder about the natural world.
