The MIT App Inventor allows children to make real-world, significant impacts with their apps. Some examples include apps that show communities where to access safe drinking water, teach a language, or even apps that contribute to lowering crime rates. Our own students have even created apps that monitor and improve passenger safety in the context of the growing ride-hailing industry!
