Programme Overview

The Magnificent World of Maths programme sparks curiosity by showing how mathematics connects to everyday life. Through engaging activities and hands-on exploration, students are introduced to Primary 1 and 2 concepts in a fun and enjoyable way, building confidence and interest in the subject.

Your child should be enrolled in these academic levels in 2027.

Programme Focus

This programme aims to develop your child's numerical prowess and mathematical skills, whilst introducing concepts and topics in a fun and enjoyable manner. Your child will be given the opportunity to develop problem-solving and decision-making skills through project-based learning and fun activities.

Course Outline

Have a favourite go-to eatery? Imagine if you were in charge of managing the operations of a new restaurant. Are you up for the challenge of crafting a brand-new menu and planning the restaurant layout? Playing the role of a young restaurant manager, your child will learn to design and plan the operations of a new restaurant.

Course Highlights

Introduction to concepts under the topics of Graphs, Patterns, Length, Mass, Volume, Fractions and Time
Participate in an in-class activity where you will be creating a recipe for a new drink while learning about volume
Bring home your very own Seat Stealer Takeaway board game

If I cannot make it for some sessions of the programme, can I still sign up? Is the content covered related?

You can still attend the session as different topics are covered over the 3 days. Should you miss any session, worksheets (including takeaways**, if any,**) and answer keys (if any) will be provided.

Will there be any homework?

There will be no homework. Students will go through the entire worksheet/activity during the programme duration. They will get to bring home games related to the activities for continued learning and solutions will be provided for these games. Worksheets will be marked and students will be closely guided by the teacher when working through the questions due to the nature of the activity-led sessions.
