Programme Overview

How do birds use their beaks and feathers to survive? What makes insects and other invertebrates so remarkable?

Young explorers can uncover the answers through exciting, hands-on science experiences! Students will discover fascinating birds and invertebrates, explore the unique features that help them survive in different environments, and encounter live animals up close.

Through engaging classroom activities and real-world learning experiences, students will observe, ask questions and discover the incredible diversity of the animal kingdom — all while developing an early interest in science.

Who can join this programme?

We welcome all Primary 1 and Primary 2 students in 2026 to attend this programme. If your child is older but interested in attending, please contact us at specialprogrammes@thelearninglab.com.sg for assistance.

Will the students be separated by level?

Depending on the total headcount, students will largely be grouped according to their levels.

How will the hands-on interactive experience be conducted?

P1P2 Our Feathered Friends

Our TLL science teacher will be present during the hands-on interactive experience, which will be facilitated by expert facilitators from Young Nautilus, leading to safe and guided interactions for each student. The birds will be brought over by Young Nautilus through collaboration with local avian enthusiasts.

P1P2 Little Invertebrate Investigators

Our TLL science teacher will be present during the hands-on interactive experience, which will be facilitated by expert facilitators from Werms.Inc, leading to safe and guided interactions for each student.
