Programme Overview

As students enter Primary 3 and learn Science for the first time, many may struggle with reading graphs, interpreting tables, and analysing flowcharts.

Your child should be enrolled in this academic level in 2027.

Programme Focus

This programme will focus on teaching the essential science process skills needed to succeed, such as observing, classifying, comparing, communicating, and designing experiments.

A strong understanding of these skills will boost your child's confidence and enable them to focus on mastering Science content.

Course Outline

Through a series of fun-filled activities, your child will develop critical thinking skills, essential science process skills, and sharper analytical abilities.

These skills will provide a strong foundation and an early advantage as your child embarks on an exciting journey in Science.

Course Highlights

Components covered include:

Analysing flowcharts, classification charts, tables and graphs
Experimental design (variables, aims)
Answering techniques for common free-response questions and multiple-choice questions

Will the worksheets be marked?

No, answer keys will be provided at the end of the programme. Teachers will go through the answers in class. Due to the nature of the programme, our teachers will focus more on teaching content, question analysis, and answering methods/techniques. The answer keys are provided to ensure there is a model answer for reference after the programme concludes. This differs from our regular programme, where we typically do not provide answer keys.

Will there be any homework?

No, there will be no homework. Students will have time to attempt most questions as part of classwork. For any remaining questions, students can try them at home and check their answers against the provided answer keys (refer to Q3).

Will the worksheets be marked?

If I can only make it for 1 day out of the 2 days, can I still attend the session? Is the content covered related?

1. Yes, you can still attend the session, as different skills are covered over the 2 days. Students do not need knowledge from the first day for the second day. However, please note that the skills covered in the second session will be more challenging than those in the first.
